must. get. in. shape.
so i’ll be booking my caribbean vacation soon. 5 months, 19 days. or 170 days. that is, until i travel. that’s how much time i’ve got to make the biggest dent possible in my weight.
and though its nearly a year away, family portraits need to be redone. the last family photo of me, my brothers, their wives & kids isn’t up for display anymore. mostly b/c my oldest brother’s wife is a whore, and they’re divorced now. but also b/c 2 more kids have been birthed since that photo - which was taken 5 years ago. i’m already smaller than i was in the current picture. but i want to be goal weight. i want to be proud of this picture. my mom wants to get it updated next summer.
today i didn’t do much at all. i just did laundry. spent a bunch of time on my macbook & ipad. watched some DVR’d shows. it was nice. and i managed to be in the apartment nearly all day & didn’t eat out of line at all. i had simple breakfast & lunch & a 500 calorie dinner. i also drank more than 8 cups of water. i certainly was a good girl today.
tomorrow is back to work - in every sense of the word. continuing my weight loss journey & back to my job. having 2 days off in a row is a rare gem these days, so i took it when i had the chance!
